Ok intake has been a nightmare to say the least. It is final pouring stages now. Throttle body had to be redrawn with a new feature that any nitrous user will like. The vortecs did have to be remove thou, so I should have more of those in roughly 4-6 weeks. The intake will be coming with rails, the stock units just would not work.

Intake will go for just under 1K. That will include a set of high flow fuel rails, brackets, and installation hardware for you oem connections.

With a 3/8" spacer no problem.

This looks like aluminum in the picture?

Is it? Or is it a silver composite like the LSX?

Why is it 85MM? aren't 80mm and 90mm the standard?

What are the inherent advantages supposed to be for this unit?

In other words, Why should I purchase this unit instead an LSX intake or just keep my ZO6 intake? (PS. I am a NX customer just asking valid questions)

85mm why not, It fits good with our throttle body, the intake is aluminum. Also there are NXL injectors allready built into the intake, So if you want to have a direct port is pretty much is already there. A few lines, some jets, couple of noids and your done.

this intake is going to be nice, really as long as it flows about the same as the LSX, this is going to be a better peice, already has the DP ports in it, instead of bosses for it.

I just wonder between this intake and the BBK, if it is ever released if FAST is going to reduce the price of theirs.

and the FAST throttle bodies are way to expensive. your looking 1600 for this intake with TB and the required parts for a DP setup. Its going to make alot more power with that then the same priced LSX will.

Ok not sure about the differences in intake yet. Testing we had done showed a increase in hp and torque across the board start to finish. Now just waiting on the production unit, and to put our car back togther and back to the dyno. One thing on the throttle bodies, you make the hole to large you loose all streetablitiy. What I mean is the off idle is extremely touchy, and the 85mm seemed to be a real good stopping point.

what kinda power increase are you lookin at w/ the 85mm intake and 85mm TB over the LS6 intake and ported stock tb? Is it for DP setups only or will it work well w/ the nx single nozzle as well?

I assume that thre will be a package available with the TB included. If so, what are we looking at price wise compared to the fast?

I was planning on a fast 90/90 setup to me one of my next routes, but this loks to be a better way to go, as a DP setup is 1/2 there already... and I know that I'll be going that route eventually.

Keep us posted as to the results. I'd like to see a dyno comparison of this setup with your 85mm TB compared to a ls6 with a ported TB, and a 90/90 fast setup... that should give everyone a real good idea as to how it ranks.

Ok our testing show 10hp and torque start to finish Across the board. The direct port that is build in is the NXL injector Bungs. The intake when it leave the our factory will be plugged. There will be a completer kit that will supply all neccessary parts to turn into a direct port. Pull the plugs, install the fittings where the plugs were, install the jets and plumbing and you are done.
