The track wasnt hooking at all with the DR's on so we threw the slicks on.

I've only made 3 N20 passes on them 1.47 was the best 1.50 and a 1.65(shut it down, spun hard)

Its a forged piston stock rod short, unknown ring setup, it wasnt originally intended for his car. Think it was built for a turbo

Does any reputable place build shortblocks anymore?

Damn, thats close!

Its been my experience that there is some type of mysterious barrier preventing cars going from low 10's into the 9's. It usually requires replacing something major like a few transmissions, a head gasket, or maybe a rear-end or two. After that, your allowed to run single digits.
Good luck

I have no personal experience with them but LME is supposed to build good stuff. I ran a 10.08@136.6 on a horrible 1.54 60ft last summer never got the 9 that day the track started going away, just keep at it and you'll be there soon enough.
