Nitrous V.S. Supercharger
1.What kind of bottom end should i be looking at. Me not knowing alot about cars, what exactly am i needing. From what i can [U]guess i would say it can't handle with more than 7 pds of boost. a new BE would do what for me and cost about how much? Also, is it hard to install yourself.
2. After reading the posts, i think i want to go with a procharger, meaning i need heads, bottum end, and a couple other things, but i also would like to put a smaller nitrous system on as wekk. What can i look foward to getting? what shot and problems that will probably come with the new found power.
Thanks again,
Chris... who needs to learn about EVERYTHING.

nitrous and SC's needs more exh. dur. than intake dur.
SC's typically i think 4-6 degrees more
nitrous can work almost with any cam but works better with more exh. dur.
SC need a higher lsa for example 114.... N20 will work with 110ish and higher...
so if you're looking to maximize your performance you would want to swap cams for a supercharger
I have only run NA (which is about to change -N2o). My Z is slower in the summer, which of course is to be expected. Blowers/turbos tend to be really affected by climate as well.
But is nitrous less affected by heat and humidity than NA or blower? I don't run in the summer because my times are ~.3 to .5 slower, which takes the fun out of it for me here in S. Florida...
Thanks again all,
Chris
By the way, anybody have stuff for sale that would go on a 98 T.A.? im intersted in tires, chip, interior, and anything else that will make it go faster without alot of work. PM or leave a post.
