Default Vette w/ SS4000 & wanting DRY Shot. How bad is my TC?

How bad is my TC for Nitrous, looking at a NOS 100 shot dry kit.

I guess I need a Window switch? if so when do I turn it on and off.

How bad will the juice be on that TC?

Slightly above your launch rpm. Or none at all, cause at that launch rpm your moving enough air to go imediatly wot, if traction allows. (along with the rev limter/shift point thing we talked about)

4,000 isnt big for a 100 shot, you'll be fine.

I hit my 4,000 with the 150 shot ALL the time

I just meant with a higher stall, you don't get to have too much nitrous time. A Yank SS3600 would lilley be a better Nitrous Converter, but I am just assuming,,,,i don't know for sure......

Thats why I am asking

There is a line that you cross and every car will be different.

I would say try the 4,000 before you went ahead and bought a new converter.

your right the 3600 would be better for the jug but hurt your motor times.

I am not going to spend any $$ on a new TC, plus the NA Times are nice.

Thanks for the info guys. Anyone running a dry kit (or wet for that matter) on a car with a 4900 stall?

More than likely you will flash about 500 RPMs higher on the nitrous. That is alot of stall for nitrous but it should work. You are right about the 3600 being a better choice.
