Exclamation nitro not making as much power as stated

ok, so i had the car dynoed with and without nitrous, i made 333rwhp without and 403 with i am running a 150shot wet kit, why am i not making the suggested power, do i need to change the fuel jet or could the car be running rich? how would i remedy this situation? any help would be great.

(on a side note, is it odd to make 333hp without any engine modification other than like smooth bellows... and lid. i am on stock manifolds etc.)

What was your air fuel and bottle pressure?

get an LS6 intake and longtubes and you would be closer to seeing the numbers you want

auto or stick?
probably too rich or too low of bottle pressure....redyno it, get an accurate AF ratio (adjust fuel jet if necessary), make sure bottle is at 1000 psi (get heater if you don't have one).

If you have an automatic car, getting 100 hp at the wheels is terribly far off for a 150 wet shot.

Most M6 cars dyno 300-310 rwhp stock. Your 330+ number is excessive. Be that as it may, even if you'd dynoed ~300 rwhp stock, you should have dynoed another 150 or ~450 rwhp with your M6 car. The "shots" of all the nitrous systems I'm aware of are rear wheel ratings except ZEX's which are rated at the flywheel and they're usually spot on.

you need to have it dyno'd w/ wideband and you need to know what your bottle pressure is/was at. These are critical when tuning your car for the spray. You cant just put it on and spray it and hope to make "safe" power. You will also want NGK Tr6 plugs, and you'll want to dial back the timing to avoid detonation.

I promise you that you are not going to see 450+ gains with an LS1 intake and stock manifolds. You need longtubes for sure. Waisting the money on the dyno is not the direction you should take. Get the mods to back up the 150 before dynoing it. It is useless spraying that high with stock manifolds.

really????????????? man what was i thinking.

00 formula
stock motor (LS1 intake)
stock manifolds and cats
SLP airlid
3" open cutout
auto with stock converter

i had a dyno sheet showing 460 when i put the bassani tru-duals on. but the line was very wavy at the beginning. so, the torque wasn't accurate. so, i threw it away.
