Hey all,
I'm on neutral territory here since I no longer run nitrous (but still am a nitrous junky at heart).
But you guys are all coming down on Powell and KingCrap. Read back to the beginning of the posts on page 1 and 2 and you'll see that The Chef is the one who started throwing fuel on the fire. Then Powell and KingCrap answer back with some noise and now all of a sudden they **** talkers who just run their fingers across the keyboard and don't come out to race??? Come on guys, whats fair is fair.

I understand the reason not to go to these races, i live far from them also. the only one i will do is MIR because it is only 12 hours from my house. any further then that is just to hard for me. so i understand that. i also understand that it is very easy to Talk or type on the key board, so i understand the bring it on thing.
and i understand an event i total different, i had the "fastest car" at one event, but didnt have my act together in between rounds, and i was OUT! slower car ended up winning. oh well, that was a $1,000 weekend for me and i did the 12 hour drive just to try to help the series blow up, not for the $200 pay out, yes, 200. it was also a great time, meeting all the internet people behind the keyboard ect ect. Hell, i didnt even get a t-shirt! lol
and if Ken is offering $2k, im stepping it way up. LOL
mr.p, good luck in takling the record. its been a while since it was touched, so go get it done. just be sure it is on video ect.

the MIR event should be interesting. between all of us going, and the efa guys going, i bet the EM class is the largest class, or close to it, with cars ranging from 8's-9's-10's!! i think it will be the class to watch!!
Ken, im coming down tommorow to drop of B-Mans car. i think i need the big mombas. LOL

All right, I see how you interpreted his comment as being cocky. Hey, we all have the cockyness in us.
Either way, good luck to both teams!

Powell how did I get drug into this???? The insinuation that I would find a reason to toss you out is NOT a good excuse for not coming.
I do tech at all 4 races and I go by the printed rules for these races. There hasnt been any bias at all toward anyone. If your car is NHRA and LS1tech legal then you race. I dont have anything against any of the racers.

Ken is that 2K for the fastest N20 car there LS1 combination of coarse. I will be running in outlaw with the crazy guys but I plan on going fast and might take that record also. So is the money for the fastest N2O LS1 car at Thunder no matter what. Cause I will tell you now I can't run with some of the turbo guys.
MINIMUM WEIGHT w/ DRIVER (RACE WEIGHT):
3200 lbs for 346-360 cid
3350 lbs for 361-400 cid
3450 lbs for 401-440 cid
POWER ADDERS:
- Single Power Adder Allowed
- Twin Turbos Allowed as long as they are not run in sequence
- Nitrous used as a power adder must be single stage
- Intake manifold must have forward facing throttle body
Here are some of the rules for Extreme Modified Power Adders. This is the class that you guys are wanting to run in. It is going to be hard to beat a record weighing in at 3350lbs or more with a single stage and a conventional intake TB setup.
