Does a dry shot need to be before the MAF??

Default Does a dry shot need to be before the MAF??

Well if i am doing a dry shot should it be before the MAF?? I am not too sure about this and were is the best place to put a dry shot.

this is on a 2000 silverado 5.3

Yes. The maf is what senses the extra oxygen and makes the injectors spray more fuel. Anyone else correct me if I'm wrong.

ok so with a dry kit on a ls1 you dont need a fuel pressure riser, correct? the maf will take care of the extra fuel?

Correct, as long as your fuel delivery system is up to the task.

just make sure its not spraying directly at the MAF or the air filter. It will freeze and plug the airfilter

I agree, the ignorence shown by many concerning dry hits just amazes me sometimes.

Im correcting you....

It doesnt have to be if you have a boost reference fuel pressure regulator.... A Mustang or LT1 dry kit will work on these cars with that type of fuel setup.

THats weird...My single nozzle dry kit flows 350rwhp of nitrous... So if i go to a wet kit ill make more power?
