Default cam + nitrous question

so i am contemplating buying this cam i found from someone. he says it is made to be put in a stock motor, which he had it in, and he made 393 to the wheels.

my question is if i put a hundred shot on top of that, will my engine still be able to handle it safely (all stock) or will i be asking for trouble?

thanks for your help

Jason

You'll be fine. My motor (and lots of other guy's motors) still has its stock bottom end and handles the added power with no problems whatsoever.

ok, but i wouldn't have to upgrade the rockers or rods ar ANYTHING? i mean i know the cam will be fine on a stock motor, and the nitrous, but i don't know if they would be fine combined with each other...

It will be fine, just make sure to get at least a fuel pump and a good tune.

Oh and get a set of colder range spark plugs. That's a must.

Your engine will be fine. You might want to upgrade your fuel system though.
