Default In car 12 volt switched power

my 01 Z has no power options, windows, locks etc...I hooked the wire for the arming switch up and it blew the 10A gauge fuse, what wire can I use for the 12 v to the arming switch?

I use the the PINK wire from the ASR switch in the center console. From what I understand any solid PINK wire in our cars is switched 12volts. Hope this helps.

The large pink wire from the key switch is the main ignoition for the car. You can also grab the ignition behind the radio it should be a yellow wire next to the orange.

I would check your wiring on the switch it a relay should take less than 1 amp to trigger. If it is a lighted switch it sounds like the ground and output wire are switched.

I went outside waiting for a reply and hooked it to the Radio?ACCY wire on the back side of the fuse panel. No problem, found out I had the wires on the inside switch hooked up wrong and was blowing the inline fuse on the main relay wire. Well, now I have power on the orange main wire to the relay, but no power coming out of the relay, I guess I cooked it???

Under your steering wheel there's a panel with your trunk release switch (if you have that switch). There are two phillips screws and two 9/32" (or 7mm maybe) hex screws... remove them, pull out the panel, and pick any of the 30 pink wires to tap into.
