Default Stock Fuel Pump with Nitrous??

'02 Z28, basically stock except for lid and catback. Made 330rwhp. Looking at adding a 100 shot dry kit. How much rwhp is the stock pump generally good for? Can I use the racetronix hotwire kit to add more voltage to the stocker?

**yes, i know it is safer to add a pump, but will it be REASONABLY safe to run it as is?**

You shouldn't have any problems running your stock pump with your current mods and a 100 dry shot.

We feel a good 150 is safe on stock after that i'd start looking into fuel pumps but there are people running 200's.. you just have to watch it

I will put in a racetronix over the winter, just want to run it with the juice one time before the weather turns to $hit.

Thanks for the replies!!

We have customers that have ran 150 on a stock pump. However I have seen different cars work well and some not so well with the stock pumps. So why take a chance. We tell all of our customers anything over a 100 shot add a fuel pump.Better safe than sorry.
