tin can on wheels. i dont plan on honda-ing the car out by pulling all the interioir and rear seat and hiding the bottle under a heavy *** speakerbox. that **** would get stolen the first time the owner left it.

Ok so my T-tops and food from trips to the market have to go in the back seat as my rear is full of amps and subs. So guess i will be loosing my spare tire. I am going to try to fab a mount with a fire extinguisher holder. Dumb question do i really need a remote bottle opener. Cant i just turn it on then go to the market even if i dont spray. Just want to be ready for that punk in his civic. Can you leave the bottle open 24x7??

Here is my setup. i like it between the seats. i have subs in the back, and i didnt have to buy the remote guage and bottle opener. it gets alot of wow factor out of it too. for some reason people around here dont believe you when you say you have nitrous. thats when i just point at the bottle. "there you have it..."

EDIT: I wouldnt recommed leaving the bottle open all the time. i think it messes with the nitrous solenoid. just open it when you go out, and when you get home, just purge the line. thats what it do.

No, you can't leave your bottle open all the time.

The inbetween the seats is nice. I decided a long time ago to run the 860 spare tire mount. Which still doesn't have a bottle in it. I'm about $350 short on getting the nitrous outlet 58mm plate system.

its not illegal. the cops arent going to give you a ticket for a nitrous bottle in the back.

Daily driver = spare tire well mount........gives more space in the passenger area + its easier to route your blowdown tube.

Track car = trans tunnel mount...... easier access, and quicker bottle changes

Just my .02

I just ordered a tunnel mount from Nitrous Outlet for my DD Z28, so the bottle is going on the hump. Once I get the mount Im going to cover it with carpet Ill get some pics when I get it all done.

Only reason I regret putting it in the spare tire area is now I need to get a remote bottle opener. In a way that is better though, I'd rather flip a switch than open the bottle by hand, probably miss when the light goes green, or personally I wouldn't want to try to open it at highway speeds if a cobra or something rolled on up.

That is exactly the way I did it also, No holes in your car etc. But I used a 4" wide 16" 1/8"thick piece of stainless to run between the two factory bolt holes. I will put some pics up in a day or so.
