Remove the carpeting and weld bolts to the floorboard with the threads sticking up. Put the carpeting back in place. Cut a small X in the carpeting to let the threads stick through. Bolt your mount to the bolts. This is what it looks like when you are finished.....

I like the rear tire area just in case you get pulled over by the cops and people dont know how big of a tank you have if you are going to race.

Why can’t I mount my bottle is this location without the bracket? What's the advantage?

Thanks,

Jason

ok you guys with the bottle laying sideways..you do know its not supposed to be mounted that way?the bottle should be mounted to where the valve is facing the front of the vehicle,so the liquid will move to the bottom of the bottle so it can be syphoned properly..

someone correct me if im wrong

If you have the bottle mounted sideways all you have to do is rotate the bottle 45* so that the siphon tube is towards the back of the car. The bottle angle and the new rotated angle will still lead the nitrous to be at the siphon tube upon acceleration.

any pics of this?

BTW, finally wired the arming switch today at work. took power from pin 9 on connector C1 on the radio(its fused, and powered in run, accy, and rap) and took ground from the bolt on the console mount right behind the shifter. the wire to the microswitch is run under the carpet to the gas pedal where the microswitch is mounted. i like how the arming switch glows when its on, lol.

It's is an exceptable option. you still want the valve end higher, and just rotate the bottle to 45* so as the pickup tube is towards the back of the car, as per NOS's rec. here's how they said to do a C5, my buddy's Z06.
