Yep, works fine. The only thing you lose is the spare tire.

I would like to mount mine between the seats but a 15# bottle sticks to far into the front.

Custom bracket I built.....

I also removed the rear speakers since I replaced them with a JL audio 10 in a stealthbox and put in polk db650 mids and highs. When I removed the rear speakers, I trimmed out where the speaker used to be and put a nice rubber liner around the trimmed area so there is room for me to see the n2o gauge, turn it on and off easily, and screw on the blow down tube (all with just the removal of the speaker grill) so the people at the track think it really works lol....

My first bracket was similar to yours, but after driving to the track with the bottle in the mount the metal started to tear.. Thats the only reason I ditched the clean look for the ugly sturdy as hell one.

Personally I'd go for the stealth look in the spare tire area. I'm strictly keeping my car a street car with the normal trips to the track and I don't like the fact of driving around with my bottle showing.

First time I saw this was in TRMIN8R's video that everyone loves.

I've used this one over a year and it hasn't bent at all. It's the angled aluminum, not just the flat stuff. The bottle doesn't move at all.

Mines not flat alum either. Each horizontal bar is made up of three 1/8" thick pieces of steel. I can stand on it and jump and the back of the car hops but the mount wont budge.

Well if you can jump up and down on it how would it just tear from driving??

re-read, ive had TWO mounts that I made for the spare area. First one was weak alum and tore, the second is the 3/8 inch thick steel and is insaney strong.

well, because I used alum L brackets I had to cut off a little of the L in order for two of them to lay on top of each other. Where I cut it tore. This time around I used one steel L bracket to attach to the antenna and spare mount and then the rest is all made up of 3/8 inch flat steel.

I live in Cali, so the stealthier the better. I just modified my original brackets that came with the kit. Works good!

When i recieve my kit, i plan on mounting the bottle between the rear seats. I was wondering where do you guys run the lines through, if you have the bottle on the hump between the seats? Either way i doubt i'll pass tech just because my nitrous pressure gauge in my center A/C vent is mechanical and not electrical. Not sure if they will care or how strict they will be the days i go, bu ti wouldn't be suprised if they turn me away for that reason.
