How thick is the plywood...i was thinkin of doin the same thing as you did. I was thinkin of using 5/8 plywood and gorilla gluing/liquid nailing the wood down to the metal. Then, bolting down my 15lber. Also, anyone have any ideas on where to run the blowdown tube in that area?

the plywood is about 1/4'' i think. i put the brackets on the bottle and traced the holes, and then drilled them out. then i put the plywood on top of the carpet and used a marker to mark the holes on the carpet and then i cut some carpet out. after that, i slid the plywood under the carpet and mounted the brackets. even though the plywood isnt secured to anything, it fits so snug that it never moves.

as far as the blowdown tube....goto the hardward store and buy a long piece of rubber tubing and slide it on the end of the blowdown tube. then run that rubber tubing down by the spare tire and there a rubber grommet that you can cut a hole into a put the tube thru that so it will vent into the atmospehere

For those with a TNT kit, and Nitro Daves spare tire well mounting bracket, is the tube long enough to go through the body, or did you have to extend it?

The best way to handle the tube is to throw it away and use a bulkhead and proper hose. You can locate the bulkead where you want. Real nice place on the tire well and then have a flexible hose(I used hydraulic line) to deal with when removing and installing the bottle. Its much nicer then stabbing a tube thru the body.

yep. i used a tape measure and measured from the edge of each plastic panel that has the speakers, and then from the back of the seat to the edge where the flap is that covers the trunk space. its very snug, and definately isnt going anywhere.

I put mine between the back seats. I used a piece of 12x24 aluminum and bent it in two places to slide over the hump. After a few hours in the workshop shaping it to fit i just drilled 4 holes for the bottle bracket and secured it with the seatbelt bolts to the interior. Holds a full 10lb bottle no problem. Ill try to get some pics soon.
