I mounted mine in the hatch area. i wasnt too keen about drilling into the body bc i didnt want to hit the gas tank. so i bought a piece of plywood and cut it the same size as the carpeted area and put it under the carpet and the bolted the bottle brackets to that. you cant tell the plywood is under there at all and it looks pretty good. ill post a pic when i get home.

I'll just be mounting mine into the rear where the spare tire is without making a bracket, I'll just drill into the body with the brackets and have the bottle facing forward and install the blow off tube. I'll probably make a bracket and install the blow off tube into the fender.

I bought a custom mounted piece off ebay, from speed inc., mounts perfect in the spare tire compartment, only had to drill two holes and was done. Real nice setup and easy to install.

i think i would rather have it on the tunnel hump so you dont have to be worried about bottle pressure and can just look back and see it

you should be able to look it up on line on sure of the exact web site. most states that i have seen will let you have it in your car. some require you just to have the bottle closed and other you have to have the feed line disconected while transporting it. but i am pretty sure that in just about every state it is illegal to spray on the street. but you can find all that info buy doing a search on the net.
