where to mount bottle
#403
bringing it back from the dead! but i am looking into having a custom tunnel mount made and i had a couple concerns about safety, would it be unsafe to have the bottle so close to you incase of a wreck or the pressure disk erupting, etc? or is that not something to worry about?

I would mount on the back where the spare tire is. Its secretive and stealthy. If I had it on the driveshaft hump I dont think Ill be getting any passangers in the back seats next to a big blue NOS bottle with pressure gagues moving. Its kinda scary if you ask me IMO. Thought about putting it in the back on the cargo space right where the rear hatch is. I got double 5% tint so no one would see it

how about were the speakers are in the back seat if u pull that speaker out then u could put a 10 pound in there and just pull the speaker cover on and off to turn it on. but it would be harder to take in and out.

I mounted mine last night between the rear seats.
The only thing I don't like about it being there is I am always hitting my elbow on it. Anytime I get into the center console. My arm is sore right now from hitting it over and over today. Other than that I think it's pimp. My wife on the other hand freakin hates it.
I wish the gauge was on the other side though. I am going to have to spin the bottle around so I can see the gauge which will make the feed line point almost straight up instead of down the way it is now.

Looks great! Hey has anyone thought of putting the bottle in the passenger air bag compartment by taking the air bag out and adding a linear actuator to open the compartment.. I have sketched a few things out and would like to do it, any thoughts or has anyone done this or know anyone who has?? thanks
