Default N02 purge??

If you have N02 in your system, can you always see the purge? I had heated my bottle to 800 lbs, (from 650) hit the purge and saw none come out. I could hear it but not see it.

Is this just compressed and heated air?

Thanks

umm you might have to hit it twice how long is the purge line? if you cant see it after a couple of purges your most likely empty ,and all is left is compressed air . that is just my .02

The weather will play into it too as well as the size (orifice) of your purge line.

Matt,

I/m using 3/16" line for my purge. When the bottle is full, (about 800 psi cold), I can see it as clear as hell.

Thanks

Do you know how many pounds of nitrous you had left in the bottle? It's possible that it was just air.

Matt,

I dont know. Gonna have to take it out and weigh it . Guess I thought if I turned the bottle on cold and it had 600psi, that meant there was nitrous in it..

Thanks

Vinnie
