Default How many peoples 4L60 3.73 Geared shift's into 4th gear while sprying in the 1/4?

How fast are going when it does...?

I had major Timing Tuner issues in my first time out with the 150's. I was getting about 122.2 mph in the quarter and still in third gear.

What I couldn't get right, was the MAX rpm setting. I swore up and down I was setting that TT right at the track to shut off at 6700 rpms (6800 REDLINE) The thing kept shutting off at 5900 I think....Hard to tell and I only had 4 runs all day to figure it out. 5900 is where I had it on the street so I wouldn't spray through the shifts, but at the track that left me high and dry about five car lenths from the traps........!!! Everytime I thought I set it at 6700 and then go down the 1/4 I would get to that point and then it would shut off and I could see my ten turning into an 11.

My last run I turned the MAX rpm off and sprayed through the shifts and hit the rev limiter on each shift which is not good on the spray but it didn't backfire and the trans is OK yet.

My question is whos trans shifts into 4th in the 1/4 and at what point and MPH? Allot depends on the gear, but I run a 3.73.. Just want to get a good idea ....

I have to get something down before my next time out.

I'm turning around 6000 rpm when I cross the traps in 3rd Gear with a 75 shot. I'm spraying from 3800 rpm to 6200 rpm with my shift points set at 6400 rpm and a 6700 rpm rev limiter setting.

I'm crossing the traps at just a hair over 6000 rpms n/a, and 6200ish spraing a dual stage. I have my rev limiter set at 6800 and shifts around 6600 in 1st and 2nd.

When I had my stock engine set up spraying 250 through a NX MAF I was crossing the line right at 6000 rpm.I ran a 10.68 but I had a PY3600E converter which is set up for nitrous.Converters not set up for nitrous will turn more rpm's but will not E.T.

I have a TCI SS3800 Billet cover. What do they do different in the nitrous converters besides the Cover?

They make the converter what we used to call in Outlaw 10.5 "tighter" It takes more power for the converter to flash to it's stall speed, therefore it will be slower N/A but faster with a power adder because you are not "driving through" the converter which is similar to a clutch that is slipping on manual.Hope this helps.

I just took my car out on the motor, first time since I got back last weekend from the track, I finally peeled my eyes off the road to look and I swear I am only doing 115 before I hit the rev (6800) in third gear. I have a time slip from last weekend that says 122mph. Even with the speedo off just a bit You would think on the 150 shot I would need 4 gear in a 1/4 mile. Since it revs faster... I never hit the third gear rev limiter on the track last weekend.

Am I off here?

I have a ongoing tune problem where it won't shift into 4th at WOT. I'll get it strightened out in the spring when I get a decent dyno tune, but those runs I did on the motor just now blew my mind again.
