Question Timming ????

I'm running a 250 shot Pro Fogger with tunning im running 28* of timming at wot with no KR's is there any outher reason to retard timming ,if there is no spark (0.0*) knock? I've have EFI-Live 7.2.2 Scanner and EFI Live-Tunner Should I add timming till i start getting KR's or should leave it were it is or lower even more.

At this point the only way to know for sure would be on the dyno. Added timing isn't allways correct. Max timing without KR does not allways mean max power. Sometimes less timing will in fact offer up the most power. If it was my set-up and I couldn't get it on a dyno, I would pull some more timing to be safe. That's a pretty big hit. I have my timing at 22*.

so anyone want to elaborate...i have to generalize here: some one has a 100% stock engine (except for a high delivery walboro fuel pump) and adds a 300 shot of N20...is pulling timing the main factor that keeps the motor form blowing to pieces? Educate me...

That’s part of the equation. Breaking it into a dual stage or progressive set up helps to keep everything together as does running a fat A/F. I’ve found that crossing your fingers before making a pass helps too.

That just about covers it. A little race gas thrown in for good measure, also. Main thing is breaking that massive torque up a bit with multi stage.

There is nothing stock in my motor it's a 348 cid all forged internals stage III heads T-Rex cam long tubs 4:30 gears in a 8.8 you can see in sig my motor,I've run the 250 shot with no problems at all .I was just wondering do you haft to pull timming with nitrous or is timming pulling just to stop KR's

No you do not have to pull timing (might be leaving some hp on the table). I call bull on the "pull this amount of timing for this amount of Nitrous", unless you don't know better or can't get it tuned. In your case such a huge investment, I would set timing on a dyno for optimum power, best way.
