Default Question about Gauges

Should i get a n20 pressure gauge and a A/F gauge to put up front on the dash someplace? I know alot of guys that use n20 have these 2 gauges up front. It might sound like a silly question, but there expensive and i dont wanna buy them if i dont need them.

also, if i get them i want to buy the dynotune digital ones, and was wondering if there was a gauge mount that was kinda like the ones in the saleens, that goes on the dash, i dont wanna do a pillar pod mount unless i have to. here is a pic of what im talkin about.

do they sell a 2 gauge dash mount for the fbodys someplace?

N20 pressure is good, A/F if its not using a wideband sensor is just really a light show. Fuel pressure may be more useful - those are the 2 I plan on adding (already have water temp to replace the factory idiot light gauge) with the spray.

I've heard that the narrowband O2's are actually pretty accurate in the lean spectrum, or at least enough so that you can use them as a safety (but not tuning) device.

For my gauges I have nitrous pressure (essential), fuel pressure (decent), and a Dynotune switch panel "gauge". I'm looking to get an A/F gauge and maybe a water temp.

Anyways, I'm wondering if anyone makes these as well. I'm really interested in getting one. Does Saleen sell just the pod? I'm sure it can't be that hard to retrofit it to an F-body.

You can get in molded into the strip of plastic that goes from the roof down to the dash next to the steering wheel..........I forget what they call that thing. they have ones with boost gauges, temp gauges, you name it they have it. Might want to look into that. It'll be better placed I think, rather than looking way over to your right to see the gauges..........jmo

They're called A-pillar gauge pods, and I already have a triple one. I was just looking to put two more gauges in without cutting out an A/C vent or something.

I don't know why there isn't a steering wheel column gauge pod for the f-body. Maybe it's not possible since the wheel tilt is soo close.

My bad dude...........I didn't know you already had the piller. It don't make sense to get more gauges if you have that............what gauges are on the piller? I guess there isn't a spot to put a pressure gauge if you asking about puting one on the dash. Why don't you just get one on the bottle? easy, inexpensive and that's what everyone else does.

The problem is that my bottle is in the spare tire well (surprise surprise) and I can't monitor it from in the cabin. Right now I have a fuel pressure, nitrous pressure, and switch panel. I'm looking to add an A/F gauge once I get a LC-1, but idk about the other one.

You can get the dynotune square nitrous or fuel pressure gauges and mount them anywhere. You can even keep them hidden until you need them.
