100 shot 1/4 mile times

100 shot 1/4 mile times UPDATE!!!!!!
Running a nos dry kit. For some reason 3rd gear was alittle sluggish and was surging alittle.
Anyway
60' 2.00
1/8 8.11
mph 90.35
1/4 12.43
mph 112.7
Not bad for street tires and a rwhp 100 dry shot. I actually sprayed in first gear at 3200 on the street tires. Like I said 3rd was acting alittle weird but I did run out of nos on the last run so maybe I was low. I'm changing over to wet and having it tuned thursday.

The funny thing was no matter what I did the 1/4 mph would not go up. The 1/8 mile would but 1/4 wouldn't. I was told maybe the fp solenoid isn't adj. right right causing the surge.
Thursday I'll tune for a 135 and 150 rwhp if all goes well and head back and post post results.

Surging is usually caused by low bottle pressure or running low on the juice (bottle getting empty). The mph your 1/8th is definitely telling that you can run 7's with traction. Your 1/4 mi. ET and trap speed are a little off. It should have been alot closer to an 11 sec. pass. Definitely get it checked on a dyno with a wideband to make sure your not going lean or pig rich.

Not too bad. Making 380 rwhp on a dry shot with a couple of bolt-ons and a 3200 stall I went 11.88@114. I would say get a converter in there! but not a bad time for stock converter and a dry shot with your mods.

Not bad for a dry kit.I ran 11.43 on my 2000 SS with a 150 shot wet kit and only mods were K&N,26x11.5-16 ET streets and hypertech programer for tire size and limiter.that's it the car had not even 500 miles on it but man that thing loved nitrous right out of the Dealer.60 foots were in the low 1.5's and 1/4 mile trap speeds were 128mph.

Well while installing the new wet convert, I noticed my lid wasn't in the slots. It was on top of them leaving a pretty big gap. Maybe that why I peaked at 112 mph and it felt sluggish in 3rd. Having the holes drilled on the sides of the lid the nitrous could blow right out pretty easy. Any thoughts?

Surging is also caused by running to rich and the mph will drop off when that happens .
Running a dry shot at the maf and trying to trick the system , the computer is most likely pouring fuel into the cylinders .
Do your self a favor and buy a PLX wide band for 250 bucks and install it .
The money you save on dyno pulls to figure out your a/f will more than pay for a wide band .
Every NX jet setting ran pig rich on my car and when i put the wide band in i picked up 40+ rwhp by watching my wide band readings and adjusting my jets.

Naw I we jetted it on the dyno to 101 rwhp. The reason I switch was b/c my injectors are at 90% duty right now. Instead of injectors I just bought the wet convert kit.
My jets are 46/32
