Kind of like the old "Gym bag" kit
that sail panel is not hard to get out. if you are hidding it then you would be opening it before you go out for the night or running a bottle opener
Why would someone hide it? Why would they lay it on the table if the guy in the other lane never saw it
I hate to tell you money is money and at this point in time it makes the world go around...you figure it out

this is rather elaborate but i heard an old urban myth (or maybe a true story) of an oval track racer who sealed off part of his roll cage and filled it with nitrous and ran everything else hidden and shot just enough to win. so aparently his engine blows while hes in the pit and everyone can smell it and they tear apart his car and find it. i have no recolection of where i heard it, but it sounds like a good idea

The object of racing is to have more than the next guy. I'm sorry here in the dirty south we just run what you brung and hope like hell you bought enough. I also race motorcycle and I will give you an idea just for kicks. You could make a custom tank to fit in a mtx thunder form sub enclosure. All you will need is a heliarc welder and some patience. I used a sheey of aluminum with at sharpie to cut out the shape of the tank. The take you time to form a 2.5 in strip to the two bases you cut out. install the valve at the lowest point of the tank. Pressure test for leaks. That is just on place if you cot the time.

where the air pump used to go...plenty of room there and its close to the engine..if ya still have the air pump hose you can even run the nitrous feed line inside this hose and it would be consealed.
5 lb bottle should also fit where the subwoofers are, if your willing to part with one of them.
i like the bass tube idea...would work well unless someone is smart to the fact.

I always liked the idea of putting something like
four 2.5# bottles under the passenger seats, 2
per side, maybe even in a push-push-push sort
of arrangement. But that's a lot of dough tied
up in bottles....
Us convertible guys have even more limited options.
I've got a plan for hidden in trunk but that would
only fool people who don't know what a convertible
trunk is supposed to look like.
The AIR pump space is actually a nice idea, at least
for a stubby 2.5 sort of bottle. Not -that- much room
but maybe enough. Two or three screws on the
underside, relatively easy access.
I think the fog lamp circuit would make a dandy arming
switch, the wiring is already run right up there. I plan
on losing the fog lamps for a little weight reduction.
