I went with a dry nitrous kit from Dynotune. It is very simple & won't break the bank. This is the kit I ordered: http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...?idproduct=118

I added a 2nd solenoid, a nitrous filter, a digital MSD window switch, a pressure gauge & it was still under $600 ( if I remember correctly). I spray from 3K rpm to 5.5K rpm controlled by the window switch. I installed tr6 spark plugs and I hooked up a LM1 wideband to make sure I wasn't going too lean when I sprayed. When using a dry kit this is the main concern as you are relying on your fuel injectors to spray the correct amount of fuel.
Pic of the solenoids/spray nozzle, you can see the nitrous filter just in front of the solenoids.

I mounted the bottle here:

I mounted the Digital window switch in the console

that is a clean install, code4. where did you put you switches? pugads650, i'd stay away from the drag radials at the track if you don't want to break anything unless you have a 12 bolt. the D/R's hook good on a crappy surface, you put them on a prepped track, you'll being going through rear ends like crazy. a 100 or 125 shot should be more than enogh to run the number you're looking for, though.

For the LS1, the safe bet is just get the dry kit. Simple hookup and easy on the wallet.
www.DynoTuneNitrous.com You will have plenty of money left over for a heater kit to!

Considering your budget I suggest the dry kit. If you shop wisely you can get a system that can be easily upgraded to a wet system later. I suggest a window switch and a heater at the bare minimum. Oh and a nitrous pressure gauge.
