New to the forum and also new to nitrous. I have a 2001 c5 A4 coupe. pretty much stock. I do have long tube headers and aftermarket cat-backs. I also have put 3:42 gears with a yank 2800 stall. I have put NX efi nitrous on it with the gen X2 package, with the universal switch pod for the ash tray.

Truly Iam scared to dead to activate it. I haven't done any of this stuff before. I was wanting to see if anyone lived around me, to give me some help explaining this to me.

ya... i live in lee's summit and i have my nx efi wet kit coming in tomorrow so i should be hooking it up saturday.
Its not all that hard hooking it up but if you need help let me know

I'm out in Independence, if your truely scared of it, use it the first time on the dyno.

 

I work on downtown and the girlfriend lives in Blue Springs. Skinnies and I could look over the system then throw my laptop on it if your worried. What fuel mods? Any tuning presently on the car?

Kansas City here too. (Overland Park) I have an NX wet kit that is not done yet, but have the bottle & solenoids mounted and plumbed. I have a few more pieces to get before I can finish. I'd be glad to see what you have and talk things over. 913-341-2288

Anyone know if we have someone who is really good at tuning nitrous in KC. Not looking for max power just want a safe street car.

i just finished building my own kit from some left overs i had around the shop. one thing i will say is GET a msd digital window switch. can spray and not have to worry about getting into the limiter on the bottle. mine is currently set to 150 at the rear wheels on a stock motor (except headers and cat back) and stock tune. im in springfield mo, a few hours away.
