Very nice work Dave, I'll start my saving up for it after the holidays...it'll compliment my current kit nicely.

The plate itself can flow over 400 HP perstage although I would not do it.LOL

Looks much better than the Prototype Dave. : ) I assume each stage sprays on different sides of the plate?

Dave,

That thing is cool as hell. How much more would it be to have it put in a color?

Their plate system is different than the Holley/NOS plate system. There were a few threads about the differences a couple of weeks ago. Dave and his company put alot of time and effort into thier products which is why they are always better. Having seen his work first hand I can tell you when it comes to Dave if it is more expensive than another comany's product there is a reason and that reason it is a better piece of equiptment. You get what you pay for. Remember its only competition when you compare 2 things that perform the same.

Unless you have dyno charts for both to back it up your merely speculating.

In what way is the plates system better than just mounting a single wet NOZZle near the TB or in the intake.

Will it be better in any way for cars using 75-125hp shots??

Dave, stop...just stop it Damn it. Have you any idea of what my ******* intake tract is going to look like? Imagine this:

MTI Clear lid: Stage 1 dry in center, Stage 2 dry on each side.

NX MAF Dual Stage

NX Plate Dual Stage

This **** is crazy... if make any more different setups, not even sure there is one you do now, then I'll have a stage per cylinder!

Did I miss it, or will this be cut for 90mm setups as well. If so, then I know where the 3rd and 4th stage are coming from.

Judging by your sig I would have to imagine that you know that power is only part of the decision you make when purchasing speed equipment. I feel from my experience that the design of Daves plate is better than NOS's for reasons that have been discussed in previous threads. When it comes to nitrous power is easy. For example lots of people think that TNTs kits are better than others becasue they make more power when in fact its really more the way they jet. Not that they are a bad kit just that they have a different way of rating. So if you think I'm speculating fine, then I guess I speculate that Daves plate has some features that make me feel like it is better. If you think I'm wrong so be it but dynos dont always win races.

Wanting to know the answer to this as well. Looking at getting a FAST 90/90 and then the nitrous.

Also, is the kit with the plate on your web page yet? I didn't see it.

Do you have data that the rest of us have missed? As far as I know they are of similar design and nether has been out long enough to make an absolute decession that one is better than the other. Both are a new generation design addressing the front cylinder lean condition that was often seen with plates of the past. Now don't get me wrong Dave certainly knows what he is doing, but to imply that a company with 30 years cutting edge knowledge has a less than well designed product is misleading and wrong. Once again I would like to see the information that proves one is better than the other before this rumor gets to far.

What part of my sig are you referring too? My 10 second LT1 or my 11.13 stock LS1? Either way I don't understand the comment or what it has to do with this thread.

Ok i have been reading and got interested so I called Dave. He's dyno numbers arevery interesting. He is suppose to post up the pages soon but with holidays he is taken a chill pill you know... Any way the comments this is better that is better will always go on, Also NOS part looks like a plate with a nozzle machined in it, not knocking it but it comes with a paper gasket, and Daves uses the stock oring, which to me shows a little more thought... I bet both will give people the power they are looking for, just as always choose your poison and have fun doing it.. One final note I called and got Dave on the phone, I tried nos no luck, maybe closed for the holidays..

Wait a minute, Dave Can't take any time off. Who am I going to argue with, er uh, I mean debate.
I think the end user will benifit from Dave's work and from NOS's work, as I certainly like this plate type set-up and think they will move as a product.

Maybe you should have tried calling NX and see if you could get anyone on the phone there. Something tells me they observe the holidays as well.
