Default msd analog window switch install question

Do you need to use a wot switch with a window switch for nitrous or can you just use the window switch? and if i just use the window switch what would be the down side?

LOL, you need a WOT switch or a push button activate switch. Without either of these the window switch will turn on everytime you hit the specified rpm, regardless of where the throttle is, you dont want that to happen. Get yourself a WOT and window switch. The downside to using just a window switch would be a blown up motor, which is almost guaranteed if the nitrous turns on at 1/2 throttle at 3000 rpm's.

you need a wot switch to be safe. Lots of people i have talked to and seen dont use alot of the safty devices or buy the basic kits . To me if you cant afford to buy the safty devices then you wont be able to afford to spray to much anyways so no use even trying. becouse all your gonna do is break something and blame it on the nos.

The window switch is good protection for the transmission. The switch turns your syston off during shift points.

Number 10 wire (tach signal) goes to the window switch. Which wire on the switch it goes to depends on the particular window switch you are using.

LOL i know when my throttle is wide open, use a toggle switch to power the window switch and if you have been driving for more than 2 days, you will know that when the pedal is all the way on the floor you throttle is wide open.
