Default The dreaded nitrous NOOB question....

I was wondering on a stock motor (i know, nitrous isnt really good for them) whats a safe shot of nitrous? 75-100 sounds about right for hypers but im going off my mustang (check the name...one day) websites and was wondering if the same rules apply to the ls1s? i couldnt fathom beyond a 100 shot on stock pistons so i was wondering if someone could tell me what the limits are of the stock pistons on N20? whos been runnin a 100 shot on the stock internals and is yet to have damage? who has had damage from a 100 shot? Thanks i really appreciate this.

100 shot is safe - after that you have to worry about the fuel pump being up to par, but some still spray 150 shots on their stock pump - the motor itself can handle it if it's in good condition

150 is usually considered safe for a stock LS1. Some guys spray 200 shots with stock internals

A few have been spraying 200 wet on a stock motor/tune/fuel system I have a 150 wet and it has been holding up fine. An ls1 can very safely and reliably hold a 150 shot.

the standard is max 150 on a SI motor, but theres always a few who go bigger and get lucky...and there the few who go smaller and blow their **** up
