OK, i have a 99 Zcamaro and i have a 150NX wet shot on it and when i spray my serp belt slides of when im at higher speeds...so i was wondering what it is...two buddies tell me different things...(ONE) new tentioner...(TWO) new underdrive pulley...i raced a car and made about 6 pulls and on the last pull the belt came off ...the belts dont shread they just slip off...then another night i made two passes just for ***** and the next mourning i looked and the belt was half way off...so just tell me what you guys think it is...thanks

 

I'd look into both your buddys ideas. One pulley out of shape could cause it.

 

thats a problem alot of guys have new tensioner will settle that problem

I would start with the new tensioner unless you have a pully out of line or damaged.If you belt is old and stretched start with that.

you need the Katech belt tensioner. Its a requirement when you start making alot of power. The stock tensioner just wont keep up.

 

Where do you get that tensioner at?

 

Dave-ive got a new belt on there and it alot tighter than the old one...and where do you get that tensioner your talking about...Thanks guys
