I have it....WORKS awesome. Can running good timing for motor passes and not have to worry about tuning your computer for a nitrous pass.

For you guys running a dry hit, no timing tuner is needed. In my web is a proven method to pull timing only on the spray, and not affect n/a timing. It's done in your tune, write up explains how to.

I HIGHLY agree with Robert on this. I used this method on my 92z a LONG time ago and wasnt even aware. IAT sensor is tapped into the intake.

The other good thing about a timing tuner is you can use it as a window switch.

The timing tuner works great. I would suggest it to be able to run a NA tune to its full potential and then pull the timing for the spray.
Here are the instructions.

dave,
when i bought all my nitrous goodies from you i was under the impression that i would not need a timing tuner with a 100 wet shot. does this still hold true?
thanks,
justin

You won't need to retard timing more than likely with only a 100 shot...BUT you will need a rpm window switch, and for that reason I would recommend a timing tuner. Since you have some mods allready, I would make sure to monitor it with some software to make sure your not getting any KR on the bottle. I have EFI Live professional and a laptop to do this if you want. Just email me and I will give you my cell...

I agree, except on getting a timing tuner. More than likely no timing pull is needed upto 150+hp hit, unless aftermarket tune was added. So the extra $$ for a timing tuner compared to a reg ws is wasted, imo.

Correct unless someone has advanced your toimming through a tune you will not need to retard timing.

True enough, the $289 is a lot for just the rpm switch...but I have a used one (that came back from fullthrottlespeed with a new case and fully checked out) that I will sell for $155 shipped. Its nice to have the nitrous delay feature as well as the ability to advance/retard timing for later mods as well as extreme temps.

Depending on how much was added along with how safe you want to play it, I would say none. Try to find out how much timing you have and either pull it or run a higher octane fuel.
