Spray before air filter?

Spray before air filter? Seen that people remove the MAF screen for
icing reasons.
It looks like the best location for hidden nozzles,
on my car, would be down in the cold air induction
ducting. This would put the super-cold running
through the paper air filter. Do people do this, or
is it just another icing problem waiting to happen?
Is the larger area of the filter enough to make it
a non-problem?

If its a small shot like 75hp it is ok, not ideal but ive seen folks do it.... It does lose a bit of the "cold" air flow...I still would recommend mounting on the other side of the filter. I think nitro dave sells a kit for this....Hidden internal spray nozzles....

My buddy sprayed a dualnozzle dry directly into his filter and froze it then blasted two holes into it. But like Dean said, some do it. sneak it in a air tube above filter, that's how vette guys hide it some times.

What section is this halo bar found in? I couldn't find it
on the site. I have all the stuff to cobble up the system
but just need the last couple of inches, sooper sekrit
style.
Last night I thunk up another way, modifying the two
brass nozzles I have by busting off the angle end and
soldering on a couple of inches of steel tubing, cut at
an angle so that they would pierce the air filter in two
spots and barely stick through. Then I can mount all
the hose hardware below the lower airbox plastic and
just have the "periscopes" sticking up.

Cover the single nozzel with rubber hose,use 1 foot,then cover the rest of the line with plastic electrical tubing. folks think thier looking at a emission device...works like a champ.

Why not run the lines under the intake manifold and drill the bottom of the manifold? 
Come from ontop of the trans route them under the manifold to just behind the TB and up into the manifold.
