Default Directport

i have a 408ci, 11:1 that needs some serious n2o.. right now i have an nx wet kit that goes up to a 250 shot if i upgrade some lines.. I've been serching threads that show differences and reliabilities in different manufactured direct ports but no luck.. anyways any advice for this forged bottem end.. by the way I will be getting an independant fuel system for the nitrous.. any suggestions, tnt, nx any others that are being used

You read my mind...i'll be watching this thread. My 408 Iron was shipped from LME tuesday...I am going to install my NX MAF...but I have an FAST intake begging for DP and now i'll be able to handle it. I hope some of the experts on DP here cover tunability and reliability issues. Good post.

call nitrodave...he has the best line of direct port kits, and a killer stand alone fuel system..250 hp is the edge of a single nozzle system, 250 and up is a good point for DP in my opinion.

We have plug and play EFI Pro nozzle style. An unbeatable price for a DP, and be be upgraded to braided lines if need be. Quad 400hp Pro solenoids. Jetting for 200/400hp. I like this style for the fact that you don't have to butcher and/or pull intake for drilling tapping. Cost complete, $849, with no bottle/main line.

We also have drill/tape style running quad SuperMax solenoids, with a 200/600hp jetting. This style kit comes in single or dual stage packages and uses SS SuperMax nozzles. We have a newer Annular discharge nozzle also. complete, minus bottle and main line, $595.

We do any custom plumbing for those who need/want it.
If I can help in any way or answer any questions give a holla.
Robert

Can I ask you 408 guys how much $$ did you spend? I know there are a few good deals out there for forged short blocks.

Our EFI plug and play standard kit comes with poly line, very easy to plumb and change jets. It can also be upgraded to braided lines for a little more $$.
What was the e-bay price for lines?
