How long is No2 good sitting in a bottle

Just like the title says.How long is nitrous good for when it is just sitting in a bottle?I filled my bottle last summer and blew my trans i'm changing lots of stuff on car and wont even use car until next summer will the nitrous still be good and ok to use?

It will still be fine, nitrous doesn't go bad.

There should be an expiration date on the bottom of the bottle.

There is no date on bottom, the date (near the top of the bottle) is the manufacture date of the tank itself. It is used because DOT requires tanks get tested every 5 years. Nothing to do with the nitrous in the bottle.
Like GM said, the actual Nitrous dosen't go bad.
