LT1 Dry Kit
I may possibly be getting a dry kit for my LT1. On the LT1's is the nitrous injected before the MAF? Does anyone have any pics of a dry shot on an LT1? Also, aside from a window switch, WOT switch, and fuel pressure safety switch, is there anything else that I can do to make it even more safe? Thanks guys.
On the LT1s the computer does not work exactly like the LS1. So we do not suggest running a dry system that sprays before the mass air.
NOS and ZEX both offer a Dry system that sprays before the throttle body. It comes with a FMU. This unit will spike the pressure to fuel pressure regulater in creasing the fuel through the fuel injectors.

I have ran that kit and it is very safe
You MUST run the FMU setup for a dry kit on a LT1. Might I also suggest better injectors. Stock LT1 injectors tend to lock up when given 70-80 PSI
We all know what happens after that

If I remember right those kits come with pump's? That is one of the reasons they are so expensive
Also another reason you see alot of Wet kits on LT1s they are much cheaper

Stock pumps SUCK! I lost the first one at 17k miles and the second one at 56k miles. I stuffed a racetronix kit in there for now
Lets see if it will really supply the RWHP they say it will We ran that kit on our 96 bird, works great if you use 30lb SVO injectors and the pump.
we ran 175hp and a million bottles
Well maybe not a million....
stock 96 bird ran 12.2

Are dry kits the same as wet kits, in the manner that if I dont do above a 100 or 125 shot then I dont really need to replace my fuel pump? Or is it recommended that I go ahead and replace it?
