I would call cold Fusion Directly. Most companys offer a year on items like that.
If they do not Look at this switch for a better one.

I believe the pressure switch you have has a max adjustabilty of only 1000 psi and has a differential of 180 psi. This means if you set it to 900 psi....it has a repeatabilty of + or - 90 psi (180 total). So if you set it for 900 psi it may be 810 or 990. The max you can get your bottle to is 1000 psi and with the differential....you actually may only get 910 psi...

THe NX is about +/- 20 for a differential of about 40 psi.

The adjustable one we use is within +/- 25. for about a 50 psi differential. and adjust to 1250 psi..

hmmm, Does your switch look like a fuel pressre safety switch? If so you adjust it by pulling the rubber plug off the end. There is a allen head screw in there. You adjust it by turning that screw.

Default pressure switch

Actually DAVE, the CFN adjustable switch is +/- 10% ...The ajustable switch works great and rarely ever fails. It can also be ajusted to go over 1000psi.

The switch he has is a non-ajustable type that is a safety switch not a on/off switch. It is designed to turn off at 1100 and not cut back on until well below 900.

The part number I got my info from was Hobbs PN 79708 or 79710. What part number are you talking about?

Sorry,
I did not relize that coldfusion had a non adjustable switch. Do you mind if I ask what it looks like and what it is..

Just so that someone does not think I am asking to cause trouble. I am asking so that I know when I am asked.. Purely for knowledge.

Oh and Thank you for your time Albert.

Albert,
As far as I know there is no other company in united states that builds a switch that looks similiar to the hobbs switch.

Here is the link to what I thought to be your switch.
http://content.honeywell.com/sensing...scorp/P7_9.pdf

If your is not a hobs can you tell me what it is ?

Also I do not know of any switch to have the accuracy you claim your switch has..

Again Im just asking for techniacl information.. Something is not adding up to me..

Also,
On a different note I have a customer I am helping with one of these switches now. I am trying to help him over the phone and all he can tell me is that the thread size is a 1/2 on his ruler. I am trying to help him come up with a fitting. Can you tell me that thread size.

you will not have a fitting... The thread is 1/2 - 20... We are the only ones with the fitting. you will need to make him a custom fitting. Since you know so much about the part why are you asking for the thread???

Well I know you can order the hobbs switche with different threads. It is hard to figure out the thread to help the gettleman over the phone by a ruler measurement. So I figured I would just ask you.
Thank you..
