Oppinion on cam please.........
hey all........
i've decided to try the n2o route this year and see how it treats me. for the time being however, i've first got to finish putting all the pieces together and get it on the road.....hopefully early April. anyway, the motor was first meant to run stong on the street, N/A, and on pump gas (10.5:1cr). the combo is listed below in my sig....it's NOT an ls1 based motor. anyway, the cam spec's are.... -.658/.683 lift, 256/264 duration at .050, 108 lobe sep. i know it's not the Optimum setup, but what i would like to know is how well it may or may not work with what i've got. if you need any more info to be able to give a better answer, just let me know.
thanks,
Dave

that cam is very close to what i have in my 11:5 406. i have a 259/267 @.050 lift i think is .638 with 1.5s but i have 1.6s.i think it is ground on a 108/104. i hope it works o.k on the jug but i won't be spraying alot, maybe 150-200.i am also still running the stock block so it is a bomb waiting to explode, hopefully not anytime soon !
