Cleaning a Bottle Heater
Stupid question... But I got to ask it...
What can you use to clean a bottle heater and maybe give it some shine???
Tire cleaner/Shine or "Armour All" a bad idea (I am thinking it is a bad idea)?
Windex or an ammonia based cleaner a Better Idea?
Obviously it would be cleaned when cold, and dry before turning on. Also likely just the outside of the heater is cleaned, not the part that is up against the bottle.
Next is a question on Bottle blankets, I assume (we all know what happens when ya assume though ) they are rated to take the heat and will not melt or deform when on a bottle that is warming up? Anyone have a blanket melt on them?

soapy water for cleaning the element. It is make our of silicone, so do you use any type of solvent on it. Out jackets are made from balistic nylon so the heater that are out there are no problems.
I have never seen one melt, but if bet if you put an xxx style one on a good heater it will start to go by by you know tho thin blue one that are just tents not blankets. lol Ricky

I am a bit biased, buy a quality heater and you dont need a blanket LOL
Ive never run one and our heater goes from 750PSI to 1000PSI in 13 minutes. Full pressure controlled means you dont need to worry about turning it on or off.
As far as melting goes, The nylon blankets should take the temp, if the heater got so hot to melt the blanket you would be in big trouble I would guess...
