Default Help!

hi-
okay GOT A PROBLEM!-
on my window switch- i used a good wiring diagram
My yellow wire was going to my solenoids- so do i need to just gator clip the relay onto the yellow wire so it can still ground the solenoids? or what b/c it wasnt even turning on i just directly connected the yellow wire to the relay

i already byepassed the FPSS and still nothing- i can hear the window switch turn on / off- also the microswitch is fine and running the voltage, all crimps are tight, 12volt from battery is fine, arm switch is fine so what gives.....

I am not totally certain what you are asking, but this might help...
Send the ground through the window switch. The diagram looks perfect to me???
I guess I'd tripple check my connections and wires. Did you get the right tach wire?

That wiring diagram is right.

Not to be a smart ***, but did you test it with the wot switch triggered and the engine revving into the 'RPM window'?

Check something for me,
1. disconnect your nozzle from your intake (so any fuel wont be sprayed into your intake while testing)
2. arm the system and activate the full throttle switch and connect the white wire from the relay to a ground source.

If the relays click then you know the relay/ WOT switch/arming switch/and solenoids are wired correctly leaving only the window switch. Then start the car and rev it into the 'RPM window' and check for continuity
If they don't click then the check relay wiring.
Hope that helps
Vinny

You can jump the turn on pill with a paper clip in place of the pill. Saves having to start the car for chasing problems.

I would suggest doing what Vinny said. Bypass the window switch by connecting the white wire directly to a ground and activating the system. This will tell you if it's the window switch or not.

Well if you did that and it still didn't work, then you need to check for 12v+ (when wot switch is triggered) at the black wire and the red wire of the relay. If you have 12V+ at both of them then replace the relay.

Sounds dumb, but make sure the WOT switch gets tripped. Sometimes a floormat gets buched up stopping the pedal from going all the way down.
