Default dfi gen 7 cntrling nitrous?????

need some help on dfi cntrling nitrous, i installed a zex direct port system and would like to use my gen 7 system with wideband to cntrl it, i learned to late that the gen 7 is set up to only cntrl dry shot, so i can either run a dry shot threw it or some how trick it not to add to much fuel on a wet shot, any help would be much apreciated.

why would you want to trick it, unless your injectors aren't big enough to support the added power. i can't really help you, i'm yet to even get the car together, but i was told the gen7 would control up to a 3 stage n2o setup, and inject the correct amount of fuel to keep the a/f ratio safe. good luck with that. i hope to hear how it goes for you.

Default dfi

dfi is only set up to run dry system, without knowing that i purchased a zex dir port system, also if you want to run more than 1 stage of nitrous you will need to have your dfi set up for that it only comes set up for 1 stage, what im thinking is i have to ways to go, run the zex system dry and upgrade my injecters to 60# from the 42# i have or just run the zex system with a window switch and wot switch. one of the reasons i went with a stand alone dfi is to use the engine saver mode to shut the nitrous off related to afr.

I run an older version of accel dfi, but I believe the N20 funtion is the same as the Gen7.
The DFi settings are RPM window, fuel enrichment, timing retard graph, and minimum TPS value.
Its simple, if you run a wet kit just leave fuel enrichment at 0%, set your rpm window, and timing retard graph, and minimum TPS value. Done.

Don't use the window switch, or WOT switch your DFi has it built in already.

Yup they are exactly right. Setup your Gen VII on a trigger like TPS Voltage (so it turns on at any value over like 95% for example) and set your fuel enrichment to 0% and when the nitrous turns on it won't send any added fuel thru your injectors..... Or if you want to do it the other way setup your Zex kit and just don't connect the fuel solenoid to power.... And make sure you setup the fuel enrichment in the n2o setup in your DFI software....

Why are you worried about your injectors with your wet kit??? The pulse with will not change when spraying with a wet kit.

But here is the formula to determine how much the injectors will support:

Flowrate x # of injectors x Duty cycle /BSFC

so 42 x 8 x .8/.5= 537 flywheel hp @ 80% dutycycle
