Tuning should not be necessary, but you do need a scanner minimum, to make sure you are seeing fuel enrichment...You can do that by observing the two front factory narrow band O2s....

Lets say the nitrous noid sticks open after you make a pass. The nitrous is still flowing through the maf. I read in another post that it would still add fuel but wouldn't the 02 start leaning it out then? Hopefully by then you'll know something is worng and turn the car off but I'm just curious what would happen?

You'll know when a n2o noid sticks, your rpms will stay way up. Ask me how i know, yep sprayed abought a full bottle this way and hurt nothing. It was sticking in burnout through pass and return lane to pitts. No worry.

say like 175 hp? as oppose to wet

Most people limit the dry shots to 250 H.P.

what all would i have to do to a cammed car for a 150 dry shot. do i have to do fuel pump and injectors? let me know

Probably so, pump is a good idea anyway, wet or dry at that level with a modded engine. Injectors are really not that expensive or hard to install/tune.
