Default Nitrous Upgrades???

well guys i have $1000 to upgrade my nitrous setup.i used my other $700 for a new clutch.which should be here shortly.but the wife gave me a $1000 for nitrous goodies.

i have a TNT F2 kit with a timing tuner, NX switch panel, remote bottle opener, and the 860 heated bottle brackets.

now up until my clutch got roasted... ...i was running the norm 100-shot.
i.e. i have stock fuel pump.In order to run a 150-shot, or possibly even 175-200 i need a new fuel pump.ive been looking at the racetronix PnP, which is a beautiful piece.$250!

but then i was looking on Dave's site Nitro Dave's a little plug for my buddy Dave, lol. And i seen his dedicated fuel system.$700.

question#1-theres one system thats 3 quarts....how fast will this fuel go?especially if its high octane.this system bolts to the fender next to the fuse panel.cool spot.

then he has a second system thats 1 gallon(now i think the diff between 3 qts and a gallon is only a qt.correct me if im wrong) that sits in place of your battery.requires a battery relocation.although i beleive this is a much cleaner install.

how long will these tanks last on say a 150-shot? probably pretty long i would think.say you spary 2nd-4th at the track or on the street.whatever.

so what would you guys do?
racetronix pnp fuel pump and get more goodies?also what goodies would you get?fuel pressure gauge?nitrous bottle pressure gauge?a-pillar gauge setup?
wide band O2?or anything else you can think of.

OR

would you go w/ the stand-alone fuel system and a few more goodies on top of that?

i appreciate your guys insight on this, as i like to hear others' opinions.

i'm pretty much in the same boat as you

my next stop is an electronic fuel pressure gauge, n20 pressure gauge, front mount FPR, fuel rails, new fuel feed and return line, and a racetronix pump

The Dedicated fuel delivery will actually last longer than you would think. I can not remmeber the exact numbers but it is here on the board somewhere. ON a 3 qt system I think we figgured like 30 passes.
Its been a while so I can not remmber exactly.

I like the Racetronix systems also. But if you already have enough pump to support the motor you can not beat the dedicated fuel system. You can run race gas and 93 in your reular tank.

If you need a fuel system for the motor side the racetronix kit should support about 650 rear wheel.

The dedicated systems are on sale right now for 40.00 off

If your staying at stock N/A or pretty close to it.( No heads or Cam) I would probably say the Stand alone since it's an 02 (Relatively new pump)

I think you are on the right track with the stand-alone system, but add a window switch too!

i have a timing tuner(built-in window switch) 860....btw i love your brackets thanks again.

Yeah i think you guys are right...i thought about it at work all night.im not going to do a cam, or heads or any other MAJOR engine upgrade(getting prepared for a kid soon, and simply just cant afford it), because i dont want to run into any problems while im daily driving it and i also want it to be just that...a daily driver.so im definitely going w/ the dedicated fuel system; i think its more bang for the buck..i appreciate all of your guys' input.

Dave ill give you a call in a few hours.i just got off of work, and its 5am pst.ive been workin 8-4am hanging lights ALL night.im burnt .

also while were on the topic.what clutch do you guys run that the spray wont just beat up?
ive been leaning towards a RAM powergrip HD w/ a new billet f/w.i ve heard TOO many horror stories about SPEC.but let me know if im wrong.

BTW daily driven, moderate track time...maybe once or twice a month at the most.
but it might be sitting at home a little more often since i have a little hoopty im tryin to get running for a gas-saver.so the 'camaro will see a little more track time now.
