I believe mike at G-force just ordered me one for my 200 shot(90mm plate). MY 408 with ET 245 heads is going to love the spray. I`ve got a good feeling this is going to be sweet!

I was told this thing really benefits people running big shots. The smaller shots are about the same as a ring etc. Once you go to a 150-200 I believe his plate is really affective. I will tell you by friday if my converter comes in what she does.

I just ordered my 90mm plate from Dave. I'll have plenty of pics and dyno numbers to post. I have my own dyno so we will do plenty of testing. I've got customer with a 90mm plate that will go on in the next month and a stock plate in a few weeks. I'll post detailed results from all of them.

Not to start a riot, but do you all have any dyno comparisons between your plate and the others on the market? Not looking for a biased review on 'noids or anything, use the same soleniods, and the same jets (dia.) I'm in the nitrous market, and I'm curious as to where the bang for the buck is.

No problem. We see nothing wrong with someone asking questions. The testing we did I have posted. I do not have a video of the dyno seccion. It was 1 to 3 am when we did the testing. I was doing good to stay awake.LOL

I ordered mine and it should be here by Friday. My car went 11.30 last Friday on a 125-shot. I am going to see how much it picks it up this Friday and will post my findings for all. I believe that it is going to help it at least a 10th or so. Thanks again Dave and please thank Chris for the extra effort on getting me the plate out so quickly and Courtney for the jets last week. Take care.

Jim C.

PS-I may be swapping my fuel side to alcohol if so can you hook me up with a solonoid? I saw them on your website but wanted to see if it was something you kept in stock. Thanks again.

From Daves Post
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...ighlight=plate

Now Dyno numbers.
Well while you guys were tucked away nice and warm in your bed I was up to 3:30 am last week doing the final dyno testing on our plate system. As many of you know we have already had Brian using our first article on his GTO. He has had it on his car for about two months now and loves it.

OK we used a 2000 formula with GTP heads and the pig cam for testing. I could not get a stock car in time. This car already had a single nozzle NX kit on it so it saved tons of prep time.

All pulls were tested at 1050 psi.
Our base N/A HP was 403 and Base torque was 378 air fuel was 12.5

We then did a N/A pull with just the plate on. The pull was 409HP and 385 Torque air fuel was 12.5

Next was to fire the nitrous For some reason this car really liked the juice.
The car seen higher numbers than expected with opur plate and the NX single nozzle. I feel that the cars set up just really likes the nitrous

Here is the pulls with jetting.

35N-22F= 483HP and 500 Torque air fuel was 12.7
52N-33F= 549HP and 595 Torque air fuel atarted at 13.2 went down to 11.8
62N-38F= Ran out of fuel pump so we had to let off at 5000 rpms. 590HP and 620 Torque air fuel spiked 13.8 droped to 13.0 and was still dropping from the fuel pump recovering but I had already let off.

We did a 100 shot comparison with the plate and the single nozzle
The plate made the 549-595
The nozzle made 538-590

I was very pleased with the Dyno results, the real road testing and how the plate flows.
We will start shipping these units this week.

Thanks guys for reading.

I've seen very similar numbers with the NOS plate, so that really doesn't tell me anything about the specific design that is better. The solenoids could be weak and plate design stronger or vice versa, or the design could be so much alike there is no difference. There needs to be a bang for the buck comparison. Maybe I need to pull some strings and see if I can get this done. I'm not cheering for one over the other, but since I'm new to the nitrous world, I'd like to see where it's best to invest my money.
