Attention! Nitrous Forum Policy
We are going to let you guys do what you want, within reason. This applies to all regular members and sponsors here.
1. If you feel like challenging a competitor's claims, feel free to do so. This must be done professionally, without personal attacks or name calling.
2. Sponsors can decide if they wish to portray themselves as professional, immature, hostile, ignorant, sinister, or any combination of the above. Ultimately, our members will decide if they like your attitude and service, and this will be based on your behavior within this forum most likely.
3. Be warned that if you instigate something here, LS1TECH Admin will not be inclined to rescue you. In most cases, we might lock the thread or simply delete it. We do not wish to play the babysitter role in this forum any longer. You all are adults, and should be able to decide how and when to react to something. See number 2 above. Please do not email us or complain to us if your feelings get hurt, or your skin isn't thick enough.
4. We will no longer allow moderators to represent nitrous sponsors in this forum. There are too many complaints from other members and sponsors, and we have seen judgements made with bias and favoritism. Any moderators must decide if they wish to remain a staff member or become a sponsor representative (at the discretion of the sponsors, of course). Its one or the other, but not both. We tried this out, and it isn't working.
Thanks, and enjoy your potentially hostile new policy

So, that my friends is the reason the site owners came up with the new rules, posted above. Lets see how this plays out..

My #1 priority here has always been about enlightement of the facts concerning nitrous use and products as well as learning. I have been in this position for several years and this last year things in this forum have changed drastically. I will no longer bite my tongue when I have a question to ask because I think someone might be offended. And that applies to anyone and everyone. And I would expect nothing less of me in return from the users here as well. I certainly dont mind some in depth discussion and debate in an attempt to come to a conclusion that may be of some use to a member.
But please dont think this forum will be a complete "free for all". Rediculous posts will still be locked or deleted. And outright bashing will be locked or deleted.

When I was first learning about the squeeze, Robert helped me out tons, he even PM'ed me a few times showing me different products from different vendors that may suit my needs, and never pushed his stuff TOO hard....
This is not negotiable at all, we already issued warnings and sent pms/emails to attempt to address the dynamics in here.

I am the website administrator - and thus can be anything I want

Back on topic.. Its incredibly difficult for most folks to be passionate about something, and remain impartial at the same time. Its not a failing, that's human nature. That's fine if you're a sponsor, because you're expected to promote your product if you wish to sell it. However, also being a moderator causes a HUGE conflict of interests -- and we can no longer allow it, because it is obviously not working.
Robert, in your case it should be a simple choice. You learned a LOT from the folks in this forum in the past year, its pretty clear from reading back over your posts. You went from a pretty normal nitrous guy, to a really knowledgable level pretty quickly. That's what this site is all about, and I'm sure you'll agree its best when everyone can converse freely about product, concepts, theory, tech, etc. We need moderators who are free to do their duties, without being encumbered with the moral dilemma of doing what's best for the site vs. what's best for their job. You need to choose which is best for you -- helping out LS1Tech as a moderator, or helping out Nitrous Direct as a sponsor. By being one or the other, you get to focus 100% instead of trying to play a balancing act. It should make things easier on you as well.
