Default Custom distribution blocks...

My custom distribution blocks should be here later this afternoon. We looked all over but couldn't find any that we're exactly what we wanted so I decided to buy a plate of 3/4" 6061 T6 aluminum and make our own. Its very similar to the Wilson Manifold block but slightly different. Tonight we're going to try and post some pics. We need to drill the holes and tap the 4 blocks for the in's and out's and than its off to get anodized. I don't know why but I am on an anti-90 kick right now so I have done everything to elminate all of the 'tight' 90 fittings or bends.

Very cool. I would like to see the finished product. You may have something here, as a block like this would be ideal and very trick. Maybe a plumber's friend? or possibly a plumber's nightmare, though?

I don't think its going to make it easier or harder, just better flow dynamics.

Phil, better flow for sure but I think not even flow. Plumbing 94.3% sure will be harder. The TNT blocks I have used in the past look some what simular, and they were more of pain for me to plumb.. Maybe just me who knows. Lets know how they turn out.

If anyone of the supporting vendors are interested in these blocks in bulk, I have a deal working with a machine shop to get them in bulk....

My first thought was if it would flow evenly across all four exit ports.

Let us know how it turns out.

Have you decided on distribution blocks? I wanted the Wilson but couldn't see paying $260 for them. Let me know if you need any help.

Alright PHIL, you talked me into it. Can't resist after looking at those pictures. I'll send you a pm with my phone number and we'll give plumbing up my system a try. Ken

Those blocks look MEAN! You will have to lift them off the intake to plumb them.

TNT also offers some.

Good job Phil.

I do agree with ricky though. I was not real happy with how the lay out comes together with the Y.
