ok, i have harris speed works interested. a question from him is about bottle pressure. his system is designed around 950 psi. would it be an issue if we ran the manufacturers nozzles at their specified bottle pressure?

I will pm Albert on Monday and see if CF wants to particapate. I would also like to see NOS, Edelbrock and a few others join in, however, they may decline (on the lines that mrr23 stated). I will talk to Vic Edelbrock personaly Wed, as we are launching his new yacht that day. Also, David at TNT may like to join in. And, Dean and Dan from Dyno Tune.

well, what we can do is run the middle of the road on bottle pressure. 950-1050 is the norm. so, 1000 psi would be fair enough. the only thing changing is the nozzle. so, the rest should be a moot point.

well, all this would do is show what their nozzle is capable of. since it's a measure of flow rate kinda. would the nozzle care about 100 psi more? if not, we can do all of them at their rate psi. or both.
or seeing as the ny-trex system is rated for 1000 psi and all we are doing is changing the end piece, leave it at that.

Im sending $50 now. Thanks MRR23
And just test whatever nozzles you get your hands on. I wouldnt worry too much about egtting every last one out there.
Come on LS1tech members...if people only contribute $10...and 20 peaople contribute...thats quite a bit.
Robert...I agree thats the biggest hurdle. Thats whY i suggest getting the weights before and after the runs to atleast get an accurate view of how much nitrous was used...you could extrapolate somewhat.
For instance if the jet sizes were the same in a TNT nozzle and an NX nozzle...but the TNT was run at 950 and the NX run at 1050...but the nitrous flow was the same....and one nozzle made 15 more hp. I think we could determine something at that point.
Or if the jets were different sizes and at different pressure...then one nozzle flowed 8% more during a run and made 8% more HP. I think that would be useful to know. But it needs to be hooked up to a timer to be accurate.

flow testing can be done by another person capable of doing it. i'm just out for the dyno runs. unless someone has the equipment to send me for it. if not, i can send the nozzles to them. i can wiegh the bottles for each run. the scale macedo has is a digital scale. it reads in pounds and ounces. accurate to the .25 ounce.

as long as a weight is recorded that should be good enough. If one nozzle makes more power but flows alot more that will show up.

Holy bickering batwomen..... some ppl just need to STFU or send a nozzle, or send in some test cash. Bottom line, if your pushing dope for junkies, then man up.
PP sent. GL.
Charlie
From a guy thats used more different parts, and pieces of nitrous stuff than there are currently open companies. Still mutting it together too.
