Default Wiring a Basic Wet Kit?

I was wondering how many relays and what kind/type/part no. are needed to hook up a basic wet kit with a single stage and one nozzle? Are there any plug and play weather-proof kits out there?

Does someone have a shopping list of items you need? (like wire guages, fuses etc.)

You will only need one relay for that kit. You will have to use that along with the rest of the safety switches you will use (i.e. full throttle switch, window switch, etc.) If you want the wiring to be weather-tight, just use non insulated connectors w/ heat shrink tubing. You can probably just use 14ga. wiring for everything. Not sure on the part number for the relay, actually most nitrous kits come with it. Maybe someone else can elaborate on your questions more. Hope this helps.

I'll most likely be using the FJO unit as the window and WOT switches. I do have one 40 amp relay that I got in a box of misc stuff with the kit since I got it used. I thought each solonoid may need its own relay.

Basic Wet is one solenoid or 2 inline. If you double the solenoids hook together and run to the relay.

I see that image. It looks like a timing tuner though and not the FJO unit. I also have a Line Lock and wondered if that needs to be wired into the mix? Anyone got one of those images??

I missed something above about doubling the solonoids and hooking things together?

I usually will do my burnouts in 2nd gear and don't know if that will cause any issues with the 1st gear lock-out unit or not.

Depending on the Wet kit it can have 2 solenoids in line for safety sake. And some of the larger wets are double fuel/double N20.

Don't miss the wire size chart in Macon's link toward the bottom of the thread.
