Ready for an upgrade 75 to 125...

Ready for an upgrade 75 to 125... I am currently using a zex wet kit with the 75hp pills...I have used it two time and not real impressed I would like to go to a 125 shot, what would I need to do to accomplish this? Some one told me I would need to retard the timing what is the best way to do this? Thanks for the help.
do you have a bottle heater- make sure your bottle pressure is up between 950 and 1000psi Wet kits need the bottle pressure otherwise they will run pretty damn rich- i dont think you need a any retard for a 125 on a stock LS1- O yeah you have a zex kit they arent very impressive in any repsect- i took my NMU apart and it has two PARKER solenoids that you can buy for like $30..... zex has not impressed me in the least

I do have a bottle heater along with the blow down tube,purge, and pressure gauge, I asked because I noticed in the directions it said it would need 2 degrees retard for 100 shot and 4 degrees for 125 shot. Oh and I bought the zex because a friend sold it to me for $350 for the complete kit. Thanks for the help.

for cutting short the shot sizing according to thier pre set formula.

You can pill to a 125 H.P. shot i don't think you're to be impressed still.

(NGK) Tighten the gap down to keep the spark from blowing out.
And keeo an eye on your plugs.

I have NGK TR6 plugs gapped at .037thats good newa I will have to change the pills and try the 125 shot...I plan on spraying from 3500 to 5500 is this ok or would you recommend something different.

go 4 the 150 shot me n all my friends run 150 shot n the cars run perfectly fine. we have been running 150 4 about a year already n none of us have retarted our timing. dont use the window switch spray as soon as u hit wide open throttle the window switch just slows u down. a friend of mines z28 went 12.2 with the window switch n my other friend went 11.7 with out the window switch all stock just with slicks n the 150 shot.

Not using the window switch will have faster e.t.s because you are spraying through the shifts. I would recommend using the window switch to help save the tranny, but that is just my opinion. I was using a 150 shot on my 98 also with no timing retard and it was okay. Sounds like you have the plugs under control and the stock fuel system should handle up to a 150 shot.
dude get together like $500 and get a kit from one of the sponsers- you will be much more happy- besides some of the sponsers kits make WHP ratings- Zex sucks thats final..... sorry- Watch out for the bottle- they are pretty prone to leaking @ the neck where the valve screws into the bottle- mine did
O yeah alot of the sponsers have much much much better warranties on their products than the zex product- if your a m/t i would get a window switch to save your motor if you miss a gear- But if you want an FJO controller is the way 2 go + gives you a reason to have a laptop in your car
