It's been a while since I had my F-body and been underneath it, but I don't remember anything being in that location that would be in the way of mounting the bottle brackets there.

I recommend either getting underneath your car, or even just running your hand along that area of the floor pan to double check.

ls1_doc - Where you mounted your's is where the fuel tank is.

However, where goodrich is wanting to mount his, there shouldn't be anything there that would get in the way of the mounting bolts. Instead of measuring for the holes from the topside, do your measuring from the bottom. That way you can see where the holes need to be before doing any drilling.

If you want to hide it, you could put it where the spare tire goes. I've done that on a few cars...fits perfect and no one knows

If i wanna put a 10lb bottle ont he hump, what do i have to look out for and how do i look out for it? THe e-brake cable....and anything else? Do you think it would be legit drilling into the hump between back seats? The reason i want it thre is for easy access bottle opening.....
