Default 1 gallon fuel cell

I've found the following 1 gallon cell searching Summit, but I don't know if a 1 gal will be enough fuel for a 200 shot. And if it is large enough, how many passes would it be good for before I needed to refill it - I'm assuming I'd need to refill it after every pass. Any thoughts???

BTW, I already have a capable pump and regulator - just need a cell.

hmm looks sweet, if any help, nitrodaves stand alone in only 3 qt. I personally like it, might be a good option. There is a formula to figure it out, I have it book marked, I find it.

i'm pretty sure you won't have to refill it every pass.

A 200 shot on a 7 sec car will require less fuel than a 11sec car, however you should get two runs out of each fill I would hope.

Thanks guys - that sounds good. The only other thing I'm worried about, is whether the tank I have listed is actually 1 gallon - Summit lists it as 1 gal, but it's only 6x6x6. All the plastic 1 gall cells show to be 6x6x12.

my tank is over 1 gallon. Its hard to tell it moved after each pass. I dont let it get much below half and i seem to remember going 4-5 passes in between fills. It used alot less than I thought it would

with one gallon of fuel and a normal 200 shot, you will get nearly 14-15 passes according to my buddies chart

Whered you stick the fuse blocks? Did you have any problems getting it over there, or did you have to make any cuts?

a few cuts, and i've switched to a painless 12 circuit wiring harness with fuse panel located inside the car. note to self.... don't cut wires at 2 am. the engine was pulled so i could clean and paint the firewall, but is back in now

I had already cut alot away, so only had to cut a small clip out and it fit right in

I had to mount a seperate fuse panel also for all the junk going back into the car... It's the Jegs 7 circuit one. Heres where I stuck it.

The wires by the nitrous bottles are all cleaned up (sorry for the messy picture!!!) and the fuse block is invisible, unless you move the bottle.

Battery underneath woulda been slick!!!!!! Then maybe I'd actually have room in the rear of the car... The picture doesn't show the lid on the box, but it's pretty pimp and shiny!!!!

looks good! you really don't need a box for an optima though. they are a dry cell and you only need a box for a wet cell. I need to find it and print it up so when techs get a big head i can knock em down a few. Wheres the blowdown tube?

Later on i'll switch to brushed aluminum angle using his style, but have hinges on it so the bottle doesn't have to be pulled to get to the battery (for tech)

One of the DP since i'm sure the original poster is planning on doing a DP kit

Yeah... we kinda re-railed this thread. Oops. Good **** though. Yeah, a buddy was getting rid of the battery box and I got it from him for 10 bucks. It originally had the factory battery in it, but I threw in the optima later on. Too lazy to change it but I might take it out for drag racing... loose a pound or 2... Heres another picture of my jaz cell also so maybe we can get the thread back on track...
