Beginings of my new switch panel.... Finally got off my overworked lazy *** and decided to start the switch panel I've been wanting to make for some time. I think the fitment came out pretty good seeing's how I had to learn how to use snips the right way, and only had a 8"x18" sheet to accomplish this learning and panel 
As well, wife wasnt happy with me using the edge of the coffee table as a metal brake to help get nice bends in in the Aluminum....oh well, eventually she'll want a new table and I can keep this one. Next step, decide which switches I am going to use, mark, and cut them in. Final stage will be to polish the face, or brush finish it. Enjoy.

cool...thats one thing I like to do is make switch panels.
My first one was a two stage that had three indicator lights. When you armed stage one it saod "ready". When you armed stage 2 it said "Aim" and if you floored it engaging either stage the last light said "FIRE!"
I might do that one again...

I will be putting the following in, for now:
Elec. FP gauge
Elec. N2O gauge
Arming switch, one or two stages, not sure yet
Bottle warmer switch
Purge switch, if I convert back to a wet'ish type setup
I would like to add status lights to each switch also.
I currently have my Line Lock kind of hanging out, so I may mount that to the shifter ball, and then relocate the trans brake to the steering wheel with one of those spiral corded switches. I'm just worried about hitting either one when I am not intending to *yikes*.
This wont be complete for a while since I never bought the gauges when I wanted to, but I will mark everything out, and start the mounting process.

I used Coreldraw to draw up the C-5 panels (in Scale) to see if everything would fit

I considered the ashtray thing, but I got rid of that after putting the Pro Ratchet shifter in, besides thats where I used to put my change.
Beer, you make some nice panels for sure. I think I might put the line lock momentary button in my panel as well. That will just leave the transbrake button to place in with a new B&M Shifter Ball, or the corded switch on the wheel. Currently I have it on the shifter housing (red button in front of shifter), which is convenient, I launch and my hand is in the ready position for the shift.

Beer thats so damn close....I wish I already my gauges, and switches I'd be motivated enough to finish them up now. I am thinking I need to swap the fuel and nitrous gauges, fuel will always be on and is priority. I like the master switch being farther away, leaves the needed switches closer to reach. Damn thats cool.

anarchy, too many? You got 7 in your ashtray, mine is only 6 on a panel 3 times the size Actually too many for my liking, but with one control panel offering all the controls I need it will make life much easier and cleaner than my current setup.

Anyone have a good method of blocking the vents so there is no heat or AC blowing on the switches? I was thinking of following the tubing, pulling it out, and then find a way to seal, maybe spray foam, at the point of origin, or wherever I can get access.

I'm having a plate made to go where cig. lighter is, so that I can include:
Master arming
Purge
Btle Warmer
Btle Opener
Linelock
Elec. cut out
all in the same place, 3 of them will be round LED switches, (off/on) and the other 3 will be mometary, regular switches. It will be Aluminum with a brushed face, and will go all the way across where the switch for the convertables is.

Beer, no...I have been tied up taking care of the wife, basically she's on bedrest for hyperclampsia (pre-delivery high blood pressure), she's swollen up like off and on, so its almost time for my daughter to pop out. I will post pics once I get back to it.
