Is 150 shot safe on stock shortblock
Hi guys, I have a 2000 camaro ss m6 I have decided to run nitrous. the car allready has the patroit stage 2 ls6 heads, cam, intake, slp longtubes,ported tb,pullys and the coolant bypass. stock bottom end and stock 3.42's the car dynoed 422 hp to the rear wheels. how high of a horse power shot can i run ? any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks John.
also if i would run a 150 shot do i need a bigger fuel pump/injectors ?

All your current Bolt ons along with H/C pack.. I would Be scarce about tossing a 150 wet shot on there.Using your stock Bottem END. You would need a vry Good TUne prolly have to make it a Dual stage not a single 150. For your Bottem End to stay alive for a little bit. Personally i would not reccomend trying to have 600Hp on a stock bottemEnd. It has KAABOOM Written all over it LOL

100, 150, 180 and then some on a stock bottom end in my old TA. Never had a problem. This was with all the bolt ons with a head cam to boot. It can be done. Just don't have some joe schmoe tune your car. Take it a little more at a time. Remember to check your plugs often, and run the occassional compression check to see if things are starting to slide.
